From Successfully rooted 1.3.1.11
Went away for the weekend and came back to find half my apps broken.
Went to re-root and found they locked the recovery. Kind of regret posting this as the fwads will probably lock this out as well.
That said here is what you do:
put s89_root_update.zip on an sdcard and create a file called factory_update_param.aml
In that file put the following:
--show_text --update_package=/sdcard/s89_root_update.zip --run_command=/system/bin/reboot
Reboot with a toothpick.
